Christ for India

C3 Church Thirroul believes in the training up of pastors and the planting of churches, both locally and overseas.

As a church, part of our weekly offering is directed to Christ for India. Their mission is to see the nation of India discipled, and to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission by:

-Training nationals as pastors and evangelists
-Establishing native churches
-Providing humanitarian aid
-Educating India’s future leadership

How do we support Christ for India?

We support Christ for India financially, giving money to ensure pastors and their families have access to basic healthcare, education and transport. We follow the biblical principle set out by Paul in 2 Corinthians 8:13-14.

Though the local pastors associated with Christ for India receive money and food from local tithes and offerings, we believe God calls us to use our present abundance to supply their need.

We also support Christ for India spiritually and relationally. We pray that God is glorified in all that Christ for India and its associated churches do and that their ministry is blessed.

In November 2013 we sent a short-term mission team to preach and encourage in the name of Christ. They witnessed the move of God in India and all that has been achieved since Christ for India’s founding in 1981.

G.K.R. Puram – Parvathipuram

Greetings in Jesus Name.

This is to present to you our ministry report from G.K.R. Puram, Parvathipuram.  Your investment is multiplying by the soils of Jesus Christ.  By your fervent prayers and by the grace of God our ministry at G.K.R. Puram has been blessed. God is doing wonders and performing miracles when we pray in His name.  We are happy that we are being used in the hands of God.

I want to share a few miracles that God did for us in the Church.  One girl named Mary fainted in the night near about 9 p.m. Every one phoned to her mother as she went to work and was late to reach home.  Then there were no vehicles.  Once believer helped her and he took her on his bike then they took the girl to the hospital and doctor gave her injection and she was healed.  Another lady who helped her mother was bit by a scorpion.  First the scorpion bit her on the leg.  Then it crawled on her saree but did not bite anywhere else on her body.  She also took injection but she praised God because it did not bite on her full body.  She gave testimony because God rescued her from trouble and pain.

We have youth meetings, cottage meetings, Sunday school, Friday fasting prayers.  I hope God will use us mightily in the days to come.
